DeKalb Animal Clinic was founded in 1987 to serve the needs of pet owners in Smithville, TN, and surrounding areas. In 2005, our building on West Broad Street was purchased to serve the clinic’s growing clientele. Today, our 4,000-square-foot facility has four examination rooms, a two-table surgical suite, plus several large treatment areas. We utilize the newest x-ray technology, ultrasound, and on-site chemistry equipment to provide the highest quality of care possible.
Since we first opened our doors, building personal relationships with pet owners in our Community has been at the heart of this practice. At DeKalb Animal Clinic, we are a team of animal lovers, and we want to partner with you to keep your pets healthy and happy throughout their lives.
We are genuinely dedicated to the animals in our care and make every effort to diagnose and treat even the most complex cases cost-effectively. Each member of our hand-selected team of doctors, technicians, and office staff brings their unique experience and expertise to work every day. Their combined knowledge and compassion, backed by our cutting-edge technology, is a combination that ensures that our patients and their families have a great visit every time.

You will never find that “the doctor is not in” during regular business hours. For your convenience, we’d like to schedule an in-person or drop-off appointment. If you have an emergency, your pet will receive a prompt response from our staff. We make every effort to uphold the practice of never turning anyone away.
